EM (Effective Microbes) contained in Bokashi Powder are food grade naturally occuring micro-organisms that ferment the dog poop.  This ensures that there are no odours as dog poop will not break down or decompose, but rather a dry pickling process occurs.  The liquid fertilizer that is produced can be used as a drain cleaner (undiluted), or as a garden fertilizer (diluted).

The remaining processed dog poop can be dug into a shallow trench in the garden, or added to your compost heap to accelerate decomposition.
